East Central College (ECC) designates Aviso Retention as their Student Success Solution to meet student needs and to continue improving the progress, persistence and success of ECC students.

Columbus, OH, October 29, 2019 – Aviso Retention, announced that East Central College has chosen to partner with Aviso Retention as their Student Success Platform to continue improving the progress, persistence, and success of ECC students.

Aviso is thrilled to participate in this mission and work aimed at improving student outcomes. The partnership between Aviso Retention and ECC will advance ECC’s student centric focus to increase course completion, retention and graduation rates, in-line with their institutional strategic plan.

“We recently completed a new strategic plan that established bold retention and completion goals. We believe AVISO is a comprehensive retention platform that will help us meet these goals. We have no doubt the platform will help us identify those students who are in the most need of our guidance and support. We look forward to working with AVISO to have a positive impact on students and their experience here at ECC,” said Heath Martin, Vice President of Student Development.

“Earning the right to work with ECC presents a tremendous opportunity for our Team to align Aviso software solution and student success optimization practices to keep more students engaged and see more graduate on-time. It was clear through the RFP process ECC had unique characteristics in mind from a Student Success Solution to achieve their goals.  The Aviso & ECC Team, working as a coherent unit, will develop into a data-driven decision-making machine.  This will then lead to improvements in the rate students are completing their certificate and program work for the various locations ECC serves,” says Aviso Retention’s VP of Business Development, Alex Ritchey.
