Cape Fear Community College selects Aviso Retention as their Student Success platform to continue improving the progress, persistence and success of Cape Fear students.

Columbus, OH, May 30, 2019 – Cape Fear Community College, an NCCCS institution, has chosen to partner with Aviso Retention to provide an improved experience for students and enable their staff to accurately identify student risks through predictive modeling.

Aviso Retention will offer the Cape Fear campus a variety of features through our Aviso Engage platform including risk assessments, calendaring, and reporting capabilities that are customizable to meet their specific needs. Cape Fear Community College joins a community of more than 20 NC Community College System institutions that partner with Aviso Retention.

“Aviso Retention supports Cape Fear’s long-term vision of student success by providing a more holistic approach to persistence,” said Mary Elizabeth McIntosh, Project Director for Title III Grant at Cape Fear.  “The software will allow us to transition to a new, high-touch model. This will ensure that each student has a team of staff working together throughout their time at the college. In addition, the platform supports the Title III grant, which targets at-risk students.”

“Our mission at Aviso Retention is to deliver the right information at the right time to the right individuals who can make a difference for students," says Heather Taynor, VP of Client Success at Aviso Retention. “We are very excited to partner with another North Carolina community college and to help Cape Fear drive their mission to provide a unified and positive experience for their students.”
