Position Overview

The Director of Professional Services at Aviso Retention is responsible for all service-related projects, including initial implementations and ongoing individual projects at the request of our institutional partners. You will report weekly as a department to leadership to review project status and needs to ensure successful project delivery. Quarterly, you will report the success and challenges of the department to the board and company.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities and qualifications of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • 2-4 years of experience managing service-based projects and teams in a highly visible role as a team or department lead

  • Oversee each project being executed within the Professional Services department including resource allocation, delivery dates, contractual agreements, etc.

  • Quarterly reporting to the company and board as to the status of the department

  • Learn, review, and revise departmental approach to project planning and execution

  • Create and manage a department level budget

  • Ability to formulate a team of Aviso Retention resources and institutional resources to accomplish each service project

  • Support Sales, Client Success, Data Science and Engineering as to project requests, estimates, and delivery dates.

  • Meet with institutions to discuss potential and contracted project work

  • Work prioritization for professional services team

  • Ability to strategically identify areas for increased project efficiency, and the ability to execute on a best approach to increase project outcomes

  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Basecamp and reporting software such as Entrinsik Informer, Tableau, or other

  • Dedication to delivery and exceeded customer expectations

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred

Compensation and Benefits

This position includes both a base salary and a performance bonus. The performance bonus is based on successful project outcomes for our institutional partners.
