In September 2018, Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) was ranked as one of the top schools where students feel most engaged by the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education. IWU made a commitment to support students holistically and in a personalized manner to support meaningful student experiences on campus. The results are profound.
According to the WSJ article, engaged students are better equipped to sharpen their critical-thinking skills, figure out how to work in teams and translate abstract academic concepts into real-world understanding. All of which are also important post-graduation skills.
With a student success and engagement mission in mind, IWU was challenged with incorporating technology with their student engagement strategy. For institutional leaders interested in implementing new strategies to improve the student experience, it is helpful to learn how other schools achieved similar methods and goals.
Join us on Wednesday, June 12th for a Webinar with Indiana Wesleyan’s Director of Enrollment Management, Ian Slater, and, Jason Stephens, Associate Dean for Student Engagement. They will discuss their strategies for student engagement starting with the process that led to high-level buy-in from leadership and staff. The webinar will cover their challenges, technology selection process, implementation, and adoption strategies for student success and engagement support technology.
