An Aviso Retention Implementation Consultant sits at the intersection of higher education, student success business practices, and technology. Your primary goal in this role is to implement the Aviso Enterprise technology platform for the institutions we serve. Work begins after the sale and you will be a member of a team dedicated to the successful delivery of a pre-configured, turn-key platform so that a college can begin engaging their students on day one. You will work directly with senior implementation staff at Aviso Retention to learn how institutions utilize our student success platform, and then make decisions how best to configure the solution to meet institutional goals.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsibilities and qualifications of this role include, but are not limited to:
0-4 years of experience in a field such as business analysis, technical analyst, technical writer, or a similar role that combines requirements gathering and software understanding.
Execution of project tasks to ensure a successful implementation of the software at partner institutions.
Become fluent in Aviso Engage, Aviso Predict and Aviso Connect. Be able to recommend configuration approaches to an institution based on their stated goals.
Configuration of Aviso Connect, our industry leading data integration platform, through an understanding of institutional data systems.
Configuration of Aviso Engage, our web-based software platform, to meet the defined requirements of the institution.
Work directly with an institution during data validation activities to spot inconsistencies in data and determine an appropriate resolution through configuration changes.
Guide institutions as it pertains to data mapping activities.
Creation of technical documentation to ensure appropriate project documentation.
Ability to write SQL queries to extract data from SQL-based databases.
Familiarity with third party reporting solutions such as Informer, Cognos, and others.
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Basecamp and reporting software such as Entrinsik Informer, Tableau, or other.
Strong desire to learn how colleges store their data within their Student Information System and Learning Management Systems.
Belief that the team is bigger than oneself.
Dedication to delivery and exceeded customer expectations.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Compensation and Benefits
This position includes both a base salary and a performance bonus. The performance bonus is based on successful project outcomes for our institutional partners.
